Thanks DiabloAzul. The topics are interesting. Never heard Mary give an interview so thanks for bracing us. If only Terry Gross could have interviewed Jerry. I love her style.

Ditto on Terry, Wineland! Absolutely my favorite interviewer of all time...I'm a huge fan of FRESH AIR!

I am right there with you. I was trying to think of musicians she has interviewed and the only one I could think of was Gene Simmons. Any chance you heard that one? Oh boy, I have never heard vehemence in her voice before, but she was quickly approaching it. He was a complete arse, IMHO.

That's a famous one. Yes, I've heard it, and he clearly wasn't ready to be challenged in any way and revealed himself to be exactly what he is--a hack who got rich on a gimmick and then exploited it exactly like any stereotypical rock star would, a la Spinal Tap.

Another great one is her Bill O'Reilly interview in which he basically walked out on her when she dared to challenge his bullshit macho bravado. He got all flustered, took his ball, and went home!

As for musicians, I'd recommend podcast/searching anything with Tom Waits (if you're a fan)_. He's been on more than once and is always entertaining!
